Microsoft Office 365 Price Increase
Mircosoft Announces Office 365 Price Increase
With all the political ‘goings on’ of the last few months and the resultant impact on the strength of the pound against the dollar you may well have seen an increase in costs of anything within your business which is priced in US dollars.
Office 365 Price Increase
We have seen this increase have a gradual impact on computer hardware costs, but until now Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft's other cloud products (Azure, for example) have remained unchanged. Following a review of their pricing Microsoft have now announced a 22% increase on all Office 365 plans coming in to effect from the 1st January 2017. This increase seems large, but actually brings UK prices in to line with the rest of Europe (as a result of this review some countries have actually seen a reduction in their Office 365 prices).
It's not all bad news though....
Any current subscription prices will be fixed until the end of the current subscription period (12 months from the date the subscription starts), which will include any subscriptions starting before the end of December 2016.
At Halchax IT Solutions we are able to offer Office 365 subscriptions through the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) licensing channel. Taking out new Office 365 subscriptions through us, and cancelling your current subscription direct to Microsoft means you can make the most of this 12 month price cap, and because this can all be done behind the scenes there will be no disruption to your company.
Clearly time is tight, so if you would like any more information please contact us as soon as possible to talk to one of our Office 365 experts.
