Setting up Office 365 emails on other devices

If your emails are hosted on Office 365 you can access them on any device using more or less any mail software.

This can be configured in a few easy steps:

  1. Get to the ‘add a new account’ page of your chosen mail software
  2. Add an ‘Exchange’ account
  3. Enter your Office 365 email address and password
  4. ‘Allow’ any requests to use the Microsoft autodiscover servers

This should give the software enough information to find all the settings automatically.

Once the account has been added you will be able to use all the exchange functionality on your device: emails, calendars, contacts, notes.
